Mathilda F. Foux, 82, of East Grove Street, Nanticoke, passed away Tuesday at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born in Nanticoke, a daughter of the late Clem and Tillie (Shemanski) Jakubowski.
She attended Nanticoke schools and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nanticoke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber, in 1969; a brother, Henry Jakubowski.
Nanticoke; daughter, Janice, and her husband, Gene Pios, Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Mrs. Irene Yezefski, Nanticoke; grandchildren,
Timmothy, Tara, Wayne and Michael.
Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with services
in St. John's Lutheran Church at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Phyllis Pelletier officiating.
Interment will be in Nanticoke City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Pastor Pelletier will conduct services Friday evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
