ANTHONY ZELINSKI FEB 1906 63 YRS OLD

Anthony zelinski , Father of Bronislava  Simchick  was born in poland Dec 1843, he died in PA between 1900 & 1920. He married Mary/Marie Barscewski also from poland, she was born May 1862 and died  about 1932 in PA, most likely Plymouth PA. they married in 1881. Anthony arrrived in the US 1883 and worked as a  coal miner. They were married for 19 years (1900 census)
 
Information from the census, They had 9 children: Anthony born  Apr 1883 in poland, immigrated to PA 1886, he was a coal miner, picked slate in the coalbreaker. Victoria born  Feb  1892 Larksville, Adam born Jul 1894 Edwardsville pa, Julia born May 1896, Helen born  1899, Ellen feb 1900, Katherine born 1903, Stanley born in Pa 1906 and Bronislava 26 Jan 1888 Plymouth pa, she died 29 Jan 1918 in Larksville, burial at St John the baptist in Dallas Pa.
 
Census indicated there was 10 children, 6 living.  Adam was living on 9 west broadway E Plymouth, he worked for hudson coal co #5. Anthony worked for husdon coal co as a laborer #3 colliery larksville and living  on 25 vine st in plymouth.
 
in 1920, Anthony age 36 worked as a runner for the coal mine. His job was to accompanied moving coal cars on the way to the shaft. Adam age 25 worked as a footman, his job was to adjust the height of the gate for the chutes for the crusher and regulate the flow of  crushed coal. Julia age 22 and Catherine age 17, worked as knitters in a hoisery mill. Stanley age 15 worked as a door boy, he opened/closed gates when the coal cars passed by.
